Style: The witch hats are hollow and light-weight.

Each hat is handmade in my home studio. Slipcast with American made slip, each hat designed using a ceramic mold. Once the clay is set it is removed and is now considered greenware. The greenware is cleaned using special ceramic tools to sand, shape and prepare the greenware for firing. Once it is perfect (or near darn close), the hat is fired in the kiln at high heat (thousands of degrees). The hat must then cool to be removed from the kiln. Once cooled it is dusted, base coated in an acrylic paint and the last touch of finishes are designed in acrylic also.


Each matte hat is sealed with clear varnish to protect it's matte-look.
